Gathered in the forest city of London, Ontario. 

Artistic collective, EARTHBOUND, consists of Jana Sokolova, Hana Al Jamal, & Randi Aiken. EARTHBOUND aims is to create an installation that illuminates & glorifies plant life. 

Over the course of two weeks, EARTHBOUND scavenged materials from its local forest areas to create air plants, also known as terrariums. The terrariums, enclosed in hollowed out incandescent light bulbs, showcase some of London's most miniature local flora (and even some of its tiniest fauna).  

These terrariums act like bodies, filled with a life of their own. Individually, the bodies are seen as a vessel for plants. Collectively, they form many miniscule worlds. This installation acts as an observatory and also a think-tank as visitors become giants amongst these delicate ecosystems. 

Using lightbulbs, nature, & christmas lights, on June 14, 2014, EARTHBOUND invited passersby to enter a peaceful & inspiring space while inspecting unusual luminous bodies in fragile vessles.

After 1:00 AM, spectators where invited to come back to adobt a terrarium.
