With the notion of the image being readily available on the internet, this intaglio recreation of the group "Adventure Club" takes an old process of imitation (through printmaking), now forever embracing its existence as an art. Ironically, the print is now more valuable than the image circulating on social media websites.

22.5" x 30", edition of 3 on Somerset. This piece is a symbolic representation of my cultural identity. Embracing both Canadian, Russian, Latvian and astronomical symbols, the intricate design invites the viewer to look closely at the details and decoding the hidden messages.
